FBI Files was a show on the Discovery Channel between October 20 1998 and March 24 2006, produced by New Dominion Pictures. The associated YouTube channel in question that I will add some context for epsiodes if possible was put up by New Dominion Pictures themselves and has 5 years worth of posts and 479 videos all over 10 minutes (obviously as the min epsode run length was abut 49-51 minutes, they took up one hour blocks on the network not including commercials) and the YouTube Channel posts every 2-4 days, and has for almost 5 years.
By the way thats 479 videos for a 120 episode, seven season show that ended in 2006. So almost four times as many videos as episodes, which means this isnt just syndication, its passive, rehashed income for the production studio.
Estimation of passive income on that channel ranges from $10,178 to $203,575 USD, probably done by an intern for no pay or someone making minimum wage. (Or outsourced) Likely countries that would reduce ad revenue are blocked from viewing the content to keep their revenue per 1000 views from dropping below a dollar per 1K. Likely kept region locked to the highest profit areas, as well as its original viewing audience.
Several lawyers in it are infact now dead/missing btw. Like Pennsylvania’s Centre County District Attorney Ray Gricar. He was born in 1945 and declared dead in 2011 on July 25th. Last confirmed sighting was April 15, 2005. The circumstances behind his disappearance were suspicious.
